AGARTALA, Nov 7 (TIWN): CPI-M in Tripura is celebrating the 103 years of the November revolution. At Agartala Melarmath Party Office convenor Bijan Dhar hoisted the party flag on Monday morning.
Addressing media, Bijan Dhar said, “This day is marked as the anniversary of that great day where the first social revolution took place. This is the day when we take oath to continue the protests and movement for social reform. We can observe that across the globe the corporate world is trying to emerge in massive form but failed because the capitalism itself has a cancer hidden in it. Only socialism can solve the issues of economy”.
“In India capitalism and communalism has been poisoning the country. Russian November revolution had undergone too much tough times but it has taught a huge lesson to the people of the world and encouraged for further revolutions”, said Bijan Dhar.
At Bisramganj, a book stall was opened on this occasion, which is piled up with Communists ideology’s book-bundles.Huge rallies were organized across the state and floral tribute was given to Communist leaders in various places of the state.
CPI-M party emerged from a split from the Communist Party of India in 1964. The CPI(M) was formed at the Seventh Congress of the Communist Party of India held in Calcutta from 31 October to 7 November 1964. The strength of CPI-M is concentrated in the states of Kerala, West Bengal & Tripura. As of 2016, CPI-M is leading the state governments in Tripura and Kerala.
