AGARTALA, July 27 (TIWN): New Governor Ramesh Bais has arrived in Tripura on Saturday.

Chief Minister Biplab Deb, Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Minister Santana Chakma, Minister Ratanlal Nath have welcomed him in the welcoming ceremony.

On July 20, President Ram Nath Kovind Saturday had appointed six new Governors in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Nagaland and Tripura.

Ramesh Bais joined as new Governor of Tripura replacing incumbent Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki.
