AGARTALA, July 25 (TIWN): Voicing against privatization of mid-day-meal projects in Tripura Govt schools, CPI-M’s wing CITU held a protest rally here in Agartala.

The protest was staged as ISKCON will take charge of few schools’ mid-day-meal system by costing Rs. 9 per student.

Tripura’s mid-day-meal quality was not of good quality under State Govt and huge corruption centering mid-day-meal happened in previous years.

Due to huge corruption in midday meal distribution, Govt has taken this decision but whether a private party can do justice or not has triggered question.
