AGARTALA, July 7 (TIWN): Terminated 10323 teachers will place a deputation to the Director of Education dept with 5 points of demands.

The deputation will be placed on 14^th August, one day ahead of Independence Day. Due to the ongoing Panchayat election, their movement has been delayed.

Their demands include regularization according to Vision Document, 7^th Pay Commission, die-in-harness jobs for the passed away 10323 teachers family members, EL, CL must be similar like others.

The teachers said, they have already completed 10 years of their jobs but yet deprive of various benefits.

The teachers have urged the Govt to fulfil its pre-poll promise of ending uncertainty of the teachers future.

The teachers said that Supreme Court did not cancel their jobs rather it said the appointment was illegal. So, it’s  Govt’s fault, not teachers’ faults, who have appeared in interview and cracked to get the jobs.
