SONAMURA / AGARTALA, April 5 (TIWN): For the first time, BJP activists of Dhanpur of Sonamura were beaten when they attempted to attack on Congress MP candidate Subal Bhowmik’s supporters.
At least 3 BJP activists who attempted to attack Congress supporters during a party programme were beaten and left critically. The incident took place at Dhanpur near BJP MP candidate Pratima Bhowmik’s house. BJP activists are now afraid of attacking oppositions, said sources. The same people who are injured today had attacked Subal Bhowmik, Manik Sarkar in last week.
BJP has called Congress "Pakistani" after the attack.
