AGARTALA, April 5 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s claim of ‘Ujjwala Yojna stopped deforestation’ has erupted laughter in social media.

 Addressing at Kanchanpur today Biplab Deb on Thursday said that Manik Sarkar’s plan was not to distribute free gas connectivity so that people are bound to go the forest for wood-cutting and if arrested then commission will come.

Apart from that Biplab Deb also added another reason of Manik Sarkar to halt Ujjawala Yojna is if gas cylinders with Modi’s photos are being distributed it will cause defeat for CPI-M in the election and said, to stop Modi’s propaganda those schemes were stopped from distribution.
