BELONIA, April 1 (TIWN): In another brutal attack, one retired teacher Amal Chandra Majumder was attacked by BJP hooligans, who has been carrying a reputation as a Leftist supporter and his son Sunkanta Majumder is an SFI leader.

The attack took place infront of his house at Giridhari Para of Belonia.Hearing his screaming, his family members rushed to the road but the miscreants along with him also had beaten his brother in law Haradhan Seb. Two of them have been critically injured. Amal Chandra Majumder is a retired Govt. school teacher (65 age), but he never attended any political rally. One of his family members said, “Only being the CPI(M) supporter on yesterday when he was returning from the Saloon was physically tortured, slapped, verbally abused on road”.
