AGARTALA, March 12 (TIWN): BJP led State Govt had announced UGC scale salaries for all College teachers, which made all College staffs happy at the primary declaration.

But just like Pay Matrix 2018 for State Govt employees, the effect was not given from 2016 which has erupted resentment among the major section of College lecturers.

536 College teachers along with teachers from technical / vocational institutions’ to be deprived, even though 50% of their salaries come from the Centre.

Already in many states, Arunachal, Nagaland, UP, Bihar, Odisha like states have got UGC scale from 2016, January effect.
