AGARTALA, Feb 19 (TIWN): Hotel Sonar Tari, one among two 3-star hotels of Agartala and also BJP’s favourite hotel (as all BJP leaders enjoyed parties without clearing bills, near rs 1 crore unpaid bills) has been shut after 2pm tomorrow by High Court’s order today after the court received negative reports on this hotel’s fire-safety issue as State Fire Dept didn't issue NOC (No Objection Certificate).

At the same time Big Bazar is also closed in the same order.

Even Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley along with Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had published the Vision Document of BJP in this hotel. This is the same hotel where Amit Shah addressed the media before Assembly Election and from Biplab Deb to Pratima Bhowmik all BJP leaders’ birthdays were celebrated in this hotel and for long two years BJP booked the hotel almost for everyday.

Reliable source said, the hotel even though used by BJP, but didn’t clear any bill and recently the hotel also stopped serving “Biriani” to CM’s close people due to pending bills.
