AGARTALA, Feb 13 (TIWN): As Rajya Sabha on Wednesday was adjourned sine die after it returned the vote-on-account, Finance Bill and Appropriation Bill to the Lok Sabha and passed the Personal Laws Amendment Bill and he government could not get the controversial Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB), so Tripura is in celebrating temper where before 36 days 6 youths were hit by Police bullet while protesting against this controversial bill. Police on that day also attacked the ambulance where the injured youths were taken to hospital.

As a result, festive-mood across Northeast as illegal foreigners didn’t get an entry as Indian Citizens.  
 Bunches of protests took place in Tripura amid no communal disharmony as both Tiprasa and Bengali communities had opposed this controversial CAB.

Except BJP, all the political parties also joined the protest.

CPI-M MP Jitendra Chaudhury cited 36 reasons for not supporting this CAB including unemployment and changing demography of Tripura for the indigenous people.

The government could not get the controversial Triple Talaq Bill and Citizenship Amendment Bill passed in the Upper House.

The House saw repeated adjournments even on the last day. However, it took up and passed the Personal Laws (Amendment) Bill and the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order (Third Amendment) Bill.
Union Consumer Affairs Minister Ram Vilas Paswan tried to move the Consumer Protection Bill for consideration and passing but some opposition MPs objected saying it was encroaching on federal independence. The Bill too could not be taken up.
