AGARTALA, Feb 12 (TIWN): Following the massive attacks on CPI-M former Ministers and MP, CPI-M has kicked off a massive protest rally at Agartala.
Former Ministers cum MLA Ratan Bhowmik, MLA Badal Choudhury, MP Shankar Prasad Dutta came under attacks of BJP since Modi’s departure and the attacks took place on December 11 and December 12 planwise.
During the protest CPI-M leader Pabitra Kar said, PM Modi on February 9 claimed tall that there is no violence in Tripura anymore and people are enjoying the law-of-order, but as soon as Modi left, on the first day at Belonia former Minister MLA Belonia Badal Choudhury, MP Shankar Prasad Datta and other leaders were attacked whereas on the next day another MLA Ratan Bhowmik was attacked in Bagma and along with him many were hospitalized.
Pabitra Kar further claimed that as Modi’s rally turned flop and lacked support, thus out of fear of vote banks, BJP has started all these violence again.
