AGARTALA, Feb 12 (TIWN): Tripura Science & Technology Dept Minister Sudip Barman on Tuesday has announced that the existing Sukanta Academy will be developed into Space Gallery.
Already scientists from ISRO have visited Sukanta Academy and now setting up plans to upgrade the centre where “Journey to Sun via Mars” is already there.
The Indian Space Research Organisation is the space agency of the Government of India headquartered in the city of Bengaluru. Its vision is to "harness space technology for national development while pursuing space science research and planetary exploration.
The Minister said, it will increase the students’ interest in space related knowledge.
Sukanta Academy was established in 2008 and has been one of the educational centres, but now with time’s passage, it would be upgraded and the Minister is hoping that before Durga puja, it will get a shape.
