AGARTALA, Feb 11 (TIWN): Tripura Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Barman on Monday while addressing in a seminar on ‘State Credit’ told the banks to be more friendly with the people stepping in the banks.
He also asked to arrange an inquiry desk in each bank, which will confirm the customers’ need.
“It’s often alleged that for a loan people are going to banks and the bankers are moving them from this desk to that desk and at the end, they say time is over. This should not continue, better you chose one desk and approach the people and tell them what to do and do inquiry whether the person is eligible for the asked demand from bank or not”, said Dev Barman.
He also claimed, earlier the environment in Northeast was not developmental-friendly but now it has been changed.
