2 journalists attacked in Tripura centering Ganja news coverage

AGARTALA, Feb 1 (TIWN): At least two journalists were attacked in two separate spots who were involved in exposing news on ganja.
Already ruling party BJP’s nexus with ganja smugglers led by General Secretary Pratima Bhowmik was alleged.
The attacks took place at Khowai and Sonamura.
In her (Pratima Bhowmik’s) area (Sonamura) one journalist was beaten recently where even Assam Rifles jawans might have been involved in Ganja smuggling.
One Assam Rifles vehicle without number plate has been identified for being involved in illegal activities at Sonamura, where one journalist was also involved.
