AGARTALA, Jan 15 (TIWN): In suspect of Ganja smuggler, local people at Durga Chowmuhani have caught one rickshaw driver while he was carrying Govt rice illegally.

Locals said, the rickshaw driver was on the way to Gol Bazar, where such illegal works are taking place.

The rickshaw driver however said, he didn’t know what is inside the sacks and he was just doing his duty. The bags were given to him by Hari Das.

Angry local people raised question on Govt role of negligence and also added when people are suffering from lack of works and poverty, 5 kg of rice which comes for them are also being looted.
