AGARTALA, Jan 15 (TIWN): The BJP led State Govt has excluded many true beneficiaries from the social pension list.

Centering the issue, a massive protest was staged at No-26 ward in Agartala on Monday.

Before the election, the BJP had promised, if they are voted to power, social pension will be at least 2000 rupees, but now instead of 2000 rupees, beneficiaries names have been cut from the list.

Since the election result, the social pension was stopped in the name of verification, whereas suddenly after 10 months when the lists have started to be announced turmoil have gripped various areas.
