AGARTALA, Jan 13 (TIWN): Biplab Deb has threatened Tripura Royal son Pradyot Manikya after TSR led violence at Jirania incident, however by indirect means.

Pradyot Manikya had posted a video where TSR jawans were shooting at the agitators of Citizenship Bill.

Via BJP’s so called IT cell Pradyot Manikya was threatened indirectly.

However, Pradyot just has given his reaction to such threats and said, “I have received some calls and indirect threats for posting the video of the Indiscriminate firing of the TSR in my FB Page . Others especially people incharge of IT Cell dept of one political party have started spreading a propaganda against me “.

He also raised question, “I just have to say 3 things : 1)first don't even try to intimidate me - you will cut a sorry figure, 2) Did the statue of Maharaja Bir Bikram also try to attack the TSR that they had to vandalise his statue.What is the message being sent to us when you also pump in bullets in the statue and vandalise our beloved Bubagra's statue, 3) This is not just about the shooting incident and a magisterial enquiry , we are opposed to Citizenship amendment bill and I want to know clearly from all the elected MLA .Dont just speak about it ......Action speak louder than words .
