AGARTALA / BISHALGARH, Jan 13 (TIWN): All indigenous community are now united in ADC area, but tensed and afraid, whereas few disruptions in the normal lives were reported. All political leaders from each political party have called for peace, except BJP which is yet to hold any proper press conference.
Even though earlier in a press release BJP denied allegation but after internet service was resumed the videos of police and BJP led violence are exposed and viral.
But Bishalghar subdivision again came into highlight as many reports are coming about peace-disruption from ADC area of Bishalghar.
There were also attacks on passengers and 5 left injured. However, who was behind that incident it’s not clear.
Such unwanted incidents are occurring after Tripura witnessed a tragedy on January 8, 2019 as protestors from several indigenous organizations took part in the Northeast Bandh to protest the passage of Citizenship Amendment Bill in the Parliament.
The unprovoked firing by security personnel in West Tripura led to the injury of almost 15 protestors while 6 remain in critical condition and 1 has been shifted to Kolkata for treatment after being shot in the chest.
