AGARTALA, Jan 10 (TIWN): In Madhabbari police firing incident of Tuesday, where 6 youths left injured, Tripura’s regional party TSF has demanded step down of Biplab Deb from Home Ministry as well as Chief Ministry.
At the same time, TSF has demanded arrests of the culprits behind the incident and neutral investigation.
“It’s very unfortunate during a protest movement police’s brutal firing left 6 youths on verges of death.We demand proper investigation, action against the persons behind”, Secretary of the party Sunil Debbarma said.
As police themselves were involved in that incident, thus TSF has further demanded CBI investigation in the case.
On the other side, police have taken suo moto case against 500 people including Sunil Debbarma, but so far no action was taken against police dept.
