AGARTALA, Jan 4 (TIWN): Instead of strengthening law and order and security tight to stop narcotic passage, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has called all frequent Agartala-Kolkata travelers as ganja businessmen. Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Police Week celebration has insulted 37 lakh people of Tripura, by treating them as possible “smugglers of ganjaâ€.
The Chief Minister has instructed police to find out who are frequent travelers of Kolkata and to gather information about their profession. If without any proper reason / business a person is flying to Kolkata then he should be arrested. Now question raises, what was Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s profession that he flied to Delhi at his very young age and earned crores ?
“It’s often seen that a person who has no big earning four very frequently travelling Kolkata or Delhi. How they get the fare of travel ? If police inquires it will be revealed that that person is engaged in Ganja business”, said Biplab Deb.
“Police officials would be travelling each corner of the villages and areas. If he sees that a person who is neither a businessman, nor a farmer but travelling without any reason out of state, spot him like a ganja businessman”, CM told police.
