Agartala, Sept 23 (TIWN): With a venture to control different ailments in Agartala, Sabyasachi Club today organized a mega health camp at the club premises.

This mega health camp was organized by the Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation- Dr. Prafullajit Sinha in presence of the other dignitaries and club members.

While addressing the gathering, Dr. Sinha urged to different clubs to take initiative for this kind of activities as much as possible besides Durga Puja to ensure a disease free society.

Over 400 people availed the facilities of free health check-up. Altogether five specialist doctors from general medicine, eye, ENT, child specialist and skin disease departments treated the attended people accordingly.

After completion the free health check-up and tests, free medicines were provided among them. Though the Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA)- Gopal Roy was supposed to attend the camp but he could not.
