AGARTALA, Sep 9 (TIWN): Assam Rifles alongwith Gomati Police organised a 'Run For Unity’ at Amarpur on yesterday.

The event received tremendous response from the  locals and was  flagged off by Mr Subhash Saha, SDM Amarpur Sub Div.

A total of 623 people including Youth, Children & Jawans participated in 5 Km Run. Certificates and prizes were distributed to winners/ runners up in various categories.

The selfless efforts of Assam Rifles to spread message of peace, Unity& healthy life was highly appreciated by the locals.
