AGARTALA, Aug 21 (TIWN): At least 2 persons were held for inquiry on Tuesday by East Agartala Police from Chandrapur bus stand. Total 15 kg of ganja were seized by police from there.

East PS OC-Debasish Saha told media, today at around 12.30 pm the ganjas were seized from ISBT with the initiative of locals and police.

Till now 2 persons were held named Rahul Kumar and another person has been taken in the police station for inquiry.

But any comment regarding the second person's involvement with ganja smuggling can not be made right now as police yet to get any evidence for that. Only after inquiry and investigation his involvement can be understood, said the OC.

"We know, a single person from Bihar can not take all the ganjas from Tripura. He must was accompanied by locals of Tripura. So, we are trying to trace the locals involved in this case", Saha told media.
