Kailashahar, Sept 15 (TIWN): District Disability Rehabilitation Centre ,North Tripura in association with National Institution for the Orthopedically Handicapped , Kolkata , Govt . of India and State health department is going to organize first ever “Mega corrective Surgery camp” in Tripura

Speaking to the media persons in a press conference held at DDRC ,  Prasenjit Sinha , Saha Sabhadipati of Unakoti  Zilla Parisad and Chairman of the Organizing committee said that   so far 72 nos. of disabled persons have been identified by the officials of DDRC  at the time of issuing disabled certificates . Besides a screening camp will be held on 18^th September  in the premise of DDRC ,North.  Selected disabled persons after screening camp will go for operation at Unakoti district hospital  by a team of  nationally renowned orthopedic surgeons   on   27^thOctober to 29^th October . Haresh Pal Chaudury , Nodal Officer , District Disability Rehabilitation Centre ,North Tripura said  that  in addition to the  corrective surgery camp ,  a composite camp will be held on 20^th September  in the  office premises along with  one day In-service Doctors training.
