AGARTALA, September 15 (TIWN): Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), Tribal Youth Federation (TYF), Students Federation of India (SFI) and Tribal Students Union (TSU) organized a two hour long sit-in-demonstration demanding work for everyone and education for everyone at ONGC second gate here today.

Speaking in the sit-in-demonstration Secretary of Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) Amal Chakraborty said that the newly formed central government is not taking proper steps regarding education for all and work for everyone.

The state government is working for the people of the state regarding education for all and work for everyone. The state government is not getting proper help from the central government regarding education for all, he added.  

He further said that education has proven to be the most effective means of eliminating endemic poverty, and on an individual level has been shown to be the most sustainable escape from poverty’s clutches.
