Agartala, September 15 (TIWN): The Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee would be moving shortly with he Special Leave Petition (SLP) challenging the verdict of High Court of Tripura terminating the entire recruitment process of 10,323 graduate, post graduate and under graduate teachers’ jobs since 2010.
The move from Congress has come as a breather for teachers waiting to be terminated after no lawyer turned up to move the SLP filed by the state government at the Supreme Court earlier this month. A highly placed source in the Tripura Pradesh congress today said that a delegation of state Congress leaders would be flying for Delhi by end of September.
A total of twenty-two respondents contacted Pradesh Youth Congress president Sushanta Choudhury in response to an appeal made by the Congress party.
Senior lawyer of the Supreme Court and Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi is expected to move the case in favour of the respondents at the apex court.
