Kamalpur September 5 (TIWN): 53rd teachers day was celebrated with great enthusiasm here at Kamalpur today, along with other parts of the nation.

The Kamalpur Nagar Panchayat along with the local school board had organized a cultural event to honor 7 teachers for their outstanding achievements in the field of education in the last year. The event that took place in the Kamalpur Boys’ school auditorium, had MLA Sudhir Das as the guest of honor, along with other dignitaries.

The MLA in his speech emphasized on the role of education and the importance of good teachers, especially in remote areas for the development of the nation.
