AGARTALA, March 19 (TIWN): With a heavy relief for state Tripura, which is undergoing tremendous fund crisis following the 25 years of CPI-M regime, central govt has given green signal to end the financial problems of all Northeastern states.
When state Tripura is suffering from a loss over Rs. 11,000 crore, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said that the Central government will extend full support to reverse the situation in the region.
"We have to come up with inadequacies of resources of the deficit state. If we tell northeast to live on its own resources, it will take one day for the region to break, so it our responsibility to support and give a special attention to the region," Jaitley said.
