AGARTALA, March 12 (TIWN): Ahead of the Bar Council Election on 28th March, 47 advocates have joined BJP from Congress, CPI-M.

Arun Kanti Bhowmik, BJP Legal cell chief has handed over the party flags  to the newly joined members. The lawyers also raised slogan of 'Bharat Mata Ki Joy' at the Party Headquarter today.

Total 10 candidates, the BJP has announced for the Bar Council Election. They are :

1) Bibhal Nandi Majumder (Agartala-22),

2) Dipankar Sarma (Agartala - 224),

3) Himangsu Deb (Agartala 62),

4) Kakali Deb (Agartala-301),

5) Pradyut Kumar Dhar (Agartala-359),

6) Pranab Biswas (Belonia-21),

7)Pulak Kumar Debnath (Agartala-381),

8)Ranjit Chakraborty (Kailashahar-37),

9)Ratan Datta (Agartala-113),

10) Sudarshan Sarma (Dharmanagar-65).
