AGARTALA, March 3 (TIWN): After the Assembly Poll result out in Tripura on Saturday, Ex Congress MLA Ratan Lal Nath who before 3 months of election had joined BJP said that due to Congress's nexus with CPI-M, Congress could never win the election and failed to come out as an opposition party.
"We never saw such a movement in Tripura earlier before BJP emerged. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the corruption-free movement have finally rattled Tripura CPI-M's 25 years of regime. Our winning was expected", Ratan Lal Nath told media.
"The Cholo-Paltai movement is just historical, which the state never saw earlier", he added.
"This time due to election commission's intervene, the ruling CPI-M couldn't run their fixing-matches", Nath said.
Tripura BJP has marked history ending the 25 years of Communist regime in Tripura, whereas heavyweight Ministers, MPs, MLAs are facing defeats.
