CHARILAM / AGARTALA, Feb 20 (TIWN): After Tripura observed its Assembly Election for its 59 constituencies, now state is waiting for Charilam constituency's Assembly Election which will decide another candidate's fate whether eligible to enter in the Assembly or not as an MLA. The CPI-M candidate Palash Debbarma has submitted his nomination paper from Charilam constituency today.
The nomination paper was submitted to the Bishalgarh SDM Sumit Roy Chowdhury.
The election will be conducted on March 12 whereas the counting to be conducted on March 15.
The number of total voters are 36424 in that constituency. Numbers of female voters are 17899 whereas male voters numbers are 18925.
Charilam election was delayed after CPI-M's Charilam constituency candidate Ramendra Narayan Debbarema has passed away on February 11.
However after the polling was ended on yesterday in 59 constituencies, on yesterday CPI-M has announced the new candidate will be Palash Debbarma, who an active leader of Tribal Youth Federation (TYF).
Lt. Ramendra Debbarma died of a heart attack. From BJP the candidate is Jishnu Deb Barma at Charilam.
