SANTIR BAZAR, Feb 15 (TIWN): Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his election rally at Santir Bazar of South Tripura said that one of the common reasons of Tripura high corruption rates is the poor pay scales of the state govt employees. “Before 25 years, what the Govt employees were paid, today also they are being paid the same. As the employees are not paid their deserved moneys, thus they are bound to be involved in corruption to earn basics for their childrenâ€, said Modi. “Govt employees must get their rights. I congratulate the Tripura BJP leaders who have decided to give 7th Pay Commission once the BJP is in powerâ€, Modi told the rally.
“This is the rule of Communist to consume the whole administration. Under the Communist Govt there remains hardly any difference between the administration and the party offices", said Modi.
"For ration cards also, one has to be the cadre of the party. All the activities inside the offices are controlled by the ruling party and that’s the nature of Communist which has lagged Tripura far behind from prosperity”, said Modi.
