216 kg ganja seized at Panisagar, 1 arrested

AGARTALA, Oct 18 (TIWN): Atleast 216 kilo of ganja was seized in Tripura under police and BSF’s joint raid on Friday.
The raid took place at Panisagar today at around 12.30 pm on the Assam-Agartala national highway.
A truck bearing No. JK০২CG5111 with 14 wheelers was seized with huge amounts of ganja.
The driver Javed Iqbal was too arrested, who was transporting these items to Guwahati, to be produced before the court tomorrow.
The seized items cost over Rs. 18 lakhs.
