28 killed as fighting intensifies in Yemen

Sanaa, Sep 8 (TIWN) At least 28 people were killed as fighting intensified between Yemen's government forces and the Houthi group in the country's al-Jawf province, a military official said on Monday.
The official told Xinhua news agency that "armed confrontations that began late Sunday are still taking place between the government troops and the Houthi group over the control of key areas in al-Jawf province".
