AGARTALA / DHARMANAGAR, Jan 18 (TIWN): Not even 8 hours could pass after the Election date was announced, which made CPI-M much happy, that the red terror party jumps in action of mass beating.
Even though Tripura's crime incidents were raised at the Parliament and recently high securities have been given across state, but once again another brutal attack against opposition took place today.
The BJP activist Rana Sinha is fighting with death after around 15 CPI-M cadres attacked him, stressing him from a BJP's rally.
Immediately, Sinha was taken to the hospital. Total 25 stitches were given to Rana Sinha but he has left yet unconscious.
BJP at Dharmanagar has condemned the brutal attack upon their activist.
"Just because CPI-M got their expected election date, they lost all fears. Now their works are to spread terror and take revenge upon us", one BJP supporter told TIWN at Dharmanagar hospital.
Question also raised against the law and order condition under state police. How a party worker was taken away from a rally and beaten, it has raised question.
Amidst central forces active guarding such incident has also upset the opposition party workers.
Tripura election is on February 18 and counting on March 3rd. But within few hours of election date's declaration, such an attack upon BJP worker in the presence of election commission in state has once again alerted the state what will CPI-M do if again the party comes in power.
