Agartala / New Delhi, Jan 18 (TIWN / IANS) Assembly elections in Tripura will be held on February 18 and in Meghalaya and Nagaland on February 27, the Election Commission announced on Thursday.

The counting of votes will take place on March 3.

Chief Election Commissioner AK Jyoti in a press meet told reporters, " The code of conduct has come into effect from today in Nagaland, Meghalaya and Tripura ahead of the assembly elections in these three states".
