AGARTALA, Jan 16 (TIWN): Tripura CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar today has demanded clarification from Central Govt whether the news published on Ajit Doval's presence in BJP meeting at Rajnath Singh's house is true or not.
Addressing a press meet, Bijan Dhar said, "We don't have any problem with the BJP's meeting but we have objection on Ajit Doval's presence".
"As per media report, National Security advisor can't be there. His presence in that meeting is worrying us. It's an intrigue", added Dhar.
"If the news is correct EC must examine the issue and take legal action against it. Politburo also has demanded clarification of the Central Govt", said Dhar.
On the other side, Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Vijay Sampla as a part of reaction to CPI-M's allegation said, "Why should we believe in rumours (Suni-Batey)" ?
