AGARTALA, Jan 15 (TIWN): State Congress activists led by MLA Gopal Roy have gheraoed East PS demanding proper investigation in Gautam Sarkar murder case.

After 4 days of the murder one Sibu Das was arrested by West Police on yesterday night in Gautam Sarkar murder case, who was brutally killed on January 11 night in Talibani model.

The accused has been produced before the court today.

Congress has demanded proper investigation and arrests of all culprits.

Gautam Sarkar was killed brutally at Moror Stand area lined Chittaranjan club zone, which is just on the heart of Capital City Agartala.

BJP State President Biplab Deb alleged that after cutting nerves, the mafias dropped hot-boiled plastic over the injury.

Severe injuries were found on the dead body, whereas his head was smashed with bricks.
