AGARTALA, Jan 14 (TIWN): In the name of peace, Tripura's CPI-M Minister Ratan Bhowmik once again has chosen to talk on high sensitive issues in public.

While addressing at Engineers Association conducted blood donation camp at Tripura Students Health Home, Ratan Bhowmik said, "We want peace and Tripura has been showing unique examples for holding peace in the whole country always. But now a days we can see that the peace is halting due to a particular section's increasing attacks upon the normal lives".

"Today whole country is attacked by Communalism and Tripura has been recently attacked by similar incidents. The Kali temple attacks, cutting of Loknath's head are such incidents", added Bhowmik.

Beside, peacemonging, the CPI-M Minister also claimed that Tripura is undergoing massive developments.

He added, "Even though town areas are mostly developed and rural areas are less, but in compare to other states, Tripura's development is huge".

Bhowmik also dedicating words for engineers said, ''Engineers are the builder of the modern era". 

Criticisms have been erupted after Minister's speech, as on the occasion of Makar Sankranti in the name of peace-talks he has chosen communal issues to preach.
