AGARTALA, Jan 8 (TIWN): Tripura's TET-Qualified teachers have raised a serious question before the state govt asking ''We are doing our duty regularly, but why the salary is fixed ?'
The TET Qualified teachers in Tripura have once again come in massive protest demanding regular-pay scales. In front of Gandhi statue at Agartala Circuit house, the teachers staged a mass agitation through silent protest. In banners teachers displayed their demands writing, "Stop Exploiting Teachers". Also banners were shown writing, "We are doing our duty regularly, but why the salary is fixed ? Some more banners as "Where is minimum wage", "We want rights to live" etc.
"Whereas across the country TET qualifiers are getting regular pay scale, in maximum states with full benefits of 7th pay commission, but in Tripura teachers even after qualified in TET are getting fixed pay basis salaries resulted huge resentment among the qualified teachers", alleged the teachers.
