SONAMURA, Jan 7 (TIWN): Amidst 86 % crime rates against women, CPI-M national leader Brinda Karat told mass today that CPI-M is the best party for women.

Karat was addressing at Sonamura in a women led CPI-M’s gathering and claimed that only CPI-M party is women friendly. “We understood long back that CPI-M is the only party which works for women’s welfare”, Karat added.

However, Brinda Karat didn't mention that Tripura's crime against women's rate is 86 %. 

On the other side, while addressing at Ambassa, Biplab Deb, BJP State President hit the CPI-M Govt for crime against women.

Biplab Deb raising the issue with other issues said, “What the Chief Minister has given to the state except, 86 % crime rate against women, 67 % BPL card holders people, 8 lakhs of unemployed youths and 10323 teachers jobs termination. Along with these, 12000 fake posts were created to fool the people and even after 20 years of regime, 90 % funds are given by the central Govt”.
