AGARTALA / AMBASSA, Jan 5 (TIWN): With a shocking development, it has been informed that the newly inaugurated Hamsafar train was attacked by miscreants.

The attack was done through stone pelting when the train was in between Atharomura and Ambassa.

Nobody was injured but the glass of a compartment has been broken. Resentments have gripped the passengers as increasing stone pelting is repeating again and again in state.

On the inauguration day such an incident has upset the passengers.

Today, Railway Minister for state Rajen Gohain had inaugurated the Express Train at Agartala Railway Station.
