UDAIPUR (Garji / Matabari), Jan 5 (TIWN): The launching of Udaipur-Garji section’s rail service is not just a 'Wow' in the New Year. The extension of train service towards Garji from Matabari Raiway Station is indeed much more than "Happy New Year" gift by Modi Govt. While talking to locals, they told TIWN, "We agree for Railway's expansion there was movements but political movements remained failed since 45 years. It means the Central Govt earlier had no intention to boost the connectivity of rural Tripura and there is no doubt that Modi Govt has wise intention".TIWN talked to the cab controller (Rail-Driver) named Jhantu Das and his Asst Sudeb Sutradhar. Jhantu Das said, "I am feeling so proud that being the resident of Udaipur, I am going to pilot the maiden journey. It will remain as a great memory of my life. It's a part of nation's development and I am so lucky to participate in the historical journey".

The main programme is holding at Matabari Railway Station. Minister of Railway for State Rajen Gohain will flag off the train at Matabari Railway Station. 

Centering the programme, mass crowd were seen since the morning at Matabari Railway Station, TIWN reporting from Udaipur's Matabari Railway Station.
