AGARTALA, Jan 4 (TIWN): Amidst almost nil tea gardens across state, CITU has claimed that Rs. 173 is the highest paid wage of Indian tea gardeners, among all Indian sates, indeed much more than neighboring Assam.
CITU has congratulated the Tripura Govt for increasing the daily wages of the workers.
Finance Minister Bhanu Lal Saha in a press conference has announced about the pay hike.
CPI-M, the party is now celebrating, congratulating the state govt as tea workers salaries have hiked with Rs. 71.
However, when state is suffering from massive commodity price hike by increasing 71 rupees what the govt wanted to prove, question remains.
After Finance Minister’s announces, CPI-M’s mouthpieces are presenting the issue with heavy highlights.
