AGARTALA, Jan 1 (TIWN): When Tripura has become worse than Lalu's Bihar, CPI-M General secretary Sitaram Yechury said, "Tripura is such a state, which never embezzled a single paisa of Centre".
"BJP's target is only the red flag because this is the only party which sites example of development, which is closed to poor people", Yechury said.
"CPI-M always wants to strict on ideology. We don’t need "Neta" in country, for what Congress and BJP is fighting, but we want "Niti" to build the society", added Yechury.
“The people who preach on Ram-Avtar, they have not read the full story of Ramayana. Ram’s white coloured horse was stopped by his sons Lav & Kush. If's Ram's horse can be stopped, why not Modi's horse ? As Ram's horse stopped by Lav & Kush, in the same way Modi’s white horse will be stopped by hammer & sickle of CPI-M. Both hammer and sickle are brothers and backbone of the society”.
Mocking at PM Modi's Man-Ki-Baat, he said, "He says he is the Chaukidaar of the country but people will cancel Modi job from Prime Minister post in the upcoming poll and his Chaukidaari will end".
The General Secretary of CPI-M also said that the answer will be given by Tripura people in 2018’s Assembly Election to BJP Govt which is trying to enter here in Tripura.
“The first sun rises on Tripura and then it goes above Delhi and this new year's sun will make 8th left fron’t govt in Tripura to give a lesson to BJP”, said Yechury.
However, Yechury didn't talk on Tripura's Chit Fund scam, MGNREGA scam, Recruitment scams and thousands of pending cases against the State Govt.
