SONAMURA, Dec 24 (TIWN): Fights, quarrels had emerged among the participants after names of winners were announced in yearly Youth Festival.
Every year however, similar problems emerge at there and local people said that unqualified judges were set for the programme which developed such a chaos situation.
The resentments of the public was seen from the beginning as the lighting system was not at all satisfactory.
Allegation raised that Bharat-Natyam expert dancers were judging Kathyak. For classical song, Rabindra Sangeet expert was fit and same happened with debate, recitations.
Moreover, for judges vehicle purpose total Rs. 20000 was sanctioned but all the judges were from Sonamura and local areas.
However, all these led a massive chaos after the result's announcement. Later police had controlled the situation.
