AGARTALA, Dec 7 (TIWN): Resentment brewed among the drivers after Eco-friendly E-Rickshaws have banned in Tripura's two Districts (West & Khowai).

In a letter to the joint transport commissioner, the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangha (BMS) members wrote, "On 29th November, 2017 a notification from your dept has been issued regarding the playing of E-Rikshaws in West and Khowai District. We are very upset to tell you that whereas auto rickshaw, bus, truck and other vehicles are running in the state polluting environment but very unfriendly ban has been imposed on the eco-friendly E-Rickshaws".

The BMS members thus have requested to withdrawal the notification at the earliest.
