AGARTALA, Dec 3 (TIWN): 1,64,000 ganja plants were destroyed by Tripura Police, BSF and Sonamura administration.

Acting on secret information a team comprising of EB  Officer & staff, Zonal Director NCB, Gauhati, OC Melaghar PS and Staff, Officers of Excise Deptt, CRPF, and BSF personnel under Leadership of SDPO Sonamura conducted Joint raid against illegal cultivation of Ganja Plants at Gamaichara and Taibandal area, PS- Melaghar after observing legal formalities and destroyed about 1,64,000 nos of Ganjaplants.
