AGARTALA, Nov 28 (TIWN): Popularly known as ‘Didi’, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has once again influenced Tripura with her humanitarian move as she has offered Govt job to the slain journalist Sudip Datta Bhaumik’s son who is completing his B.Tech degree at Odisha.
In the morning West Bengal Trinamool leader Sabyasachi Datta had visited slain journalist Sudip Datta Bhaumik’s home and helped her financially.
During Sabyasachi Datta’s visit at Sudip Datta Bhaumik’s house, Mamata Banerjee directly talked to Sudip Datta Bhaumik’s mother over phone. While talking to Mamata Banerjee Bhaumik’s mother Putul Rani Datta Bhaumik told her via phone, “My son’s wish was to see his daughter becoming lawyer and son is already studying engineering”. In reply, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said, “I can not compensate a mother’s pain and her loss. Nothing in the world can compensate your loss, but as your grandson is studying engineering send him to West Bengal. I will appoint him today in Govt job. Side by side, he can complete his engineering”.
However, once again Mamata Banerjee has shown how a leader should behave like a guardian when the citizens are suffering. Local people are happy with West Bengal CM’s great move.
