Agartala, August 18 (TIWN): By Election of 39-Manu (ST) is going to be held on September 13 - just before Durga Puja according to State Election Commission.

Meanwhile a serious controversy brewing at Sabroom Manu regarding selection of Candidate in CPIM party.

Party is facing tremendous scarcity on replacement of MP Jiten Chaudhury .

In absence of Jiten Chaudhury,  the local party seems to be in disarray which can cause damage in party unity. Absence of a popular leader like Jiten Chaudhury can clearly be felt when a unified decision could not be taken to select a candidate in the Manu Constituency.

Besides political personalities , administrative officer, education professional and even an ex-football state level footballer too want to contest for MLA.

On the other side BJP,Cong(I),INPT,TMC will select their own candidate soon.In recent  Panchayat Election 2014 CPIM win most of the seats in Manu Constituency. So there will be no problem to win Manu By Election to win .But percentage of votes in favour of CPIM Candidate may fall a bit as far as candidate is concern, according to Political analyst.
